Sarah co-founded Bodyport to develop devices that detect the earliest signs of cardiovascular disease. Bodyport’s proprietary sensor technology is incorporated into a bathroom scale form-factor, transforming cardiac monitoring into a simple, daily step.
Prior to founding Bodyport, Sarah co-founded Atreo Medical where she developed devices to assist rescuers in delivering higher quality chest compressions during CPR. She led the acquisition of Atreo by Medtronic, where she worked to bring the TrueCPR product to market. It was through her experience working on resuscitation devices that Sarah was inspired to build the tools necessary to power the shift from reactive to preventive healthcare.
Sarah graduated from McMaster University with a degree in biomedical engineering.
